Wine
Our Chittering Chardonnay is the first wine we ever produced at Siverina Estate. It is a young and juicy, fruit forward style with flavours of peach, nectarine and tropical fruits. This is a wine meant to be enjoyed with food, think fish tacos and spicy Asian dishes.
The fruit was harvested in the cool of the evening at our Mooliabeenee farm before being destemmed, crushed and pressed. The juice was chilled and settled, then racked clean to a stainless steel tank for fermentation. Fermentation was cool, ranging 17 - 19 degrees Celsius, and took 10 days to reach dryness. This wine was racked clean from lees to a stainless steel tank and received minimal finings before being filtered in preparation for bottling.
Wildflower
The epic artwork on the labels was illustrated by the talented local artist James Giddy. Each of our wines showcases a Western Australian wildflower.
For our Chardonnay, the iconic Yellow Kangaroo Paw (Anigozanthos pulcherrimus), a simple elegant flower perfectly reflects this style of wine.
